The Pisgah Eagles used a 21-point first half and squashed a New Hope Indians’ comeback attempt en route to a 35-20 region win on Friday night.
The Eagles (7-1, 6-0) jumped out early with a nine-play, 76-yard drive on the games opening possession. Blair Kenimer put the Eagles on top 7-0 with an 8-yard touchdown run. On the ensuing kickoff, the Eagles came up with the ball on an unintentional onside kick. Six plays later Kennimer hit Zack Peek for a touchdown, pushing Pisgah's lead 14-0.
