Pisgah Eagles (0-1) @ Brindlee Mountain Lions (0-1)
Series: Pisgah leads 1-0
Last Meeting: Pisgah 14 Brindlee Mtn 0
Last Five Games: Pisgah 2-3, Brindlee Mtn 0-5
Pisgah will travel to Brindlee Mountain in an attempt to put a dismal performance at Ider behind them.
Getting back on the winning track should not be hard against the Lions. Brindlee Mountain has won just three games in three years of eleven man football.
Pisgah had a tough first outing, but the Eagles are eager to get back on the field and contend for a region title.
Blair Kenimer played as well as possible, coming back from a knee injury last season. Kenimer had good motion and mobility in the pocket last Friday night. He was 4-of-9 for 47 yards and a touchdown in the loss. He also rushed twice for 12 yards.
Jeb Woods will have to carry a bigger load this week for the Eagles to be successful.
Defensively, Pisgah struggled to tackle Ider's powerful back Teague Whitaker last week, and will have to perform better in that area to get a win.
Pisgah has lofty expectations this season and the Eagles will have to take the first step to the region championship Friday night.
